Description
We need extensions to pegasus-archive.
LIGO wants a tool that can help them archive the submit directories, while at the same time preserving the ability to look at them through the pegasus-dashboard.
pegasus-archive can help users tar up their directories. we need to add the following extensions to pegasus-archive
- Zip up the files ( zip format allows us to look up the index without having the need to unzip them )
- Move the submit directory.
- we tar everything up other than the stampede database when moving.
- Update the pointer in the master DB
- Update color of workflow in dashboard to BROWN or GRAY to indicate that it is archived ( this will be done by Rajiv )
