Currently LIGO has the deep directory structure on the submit host disabled as the users find the hierarchical naming hard to follow.
however the flat directory structure is not ideal for them as it results in too many files in a single directory on the submit host.

A new Named Submit Directory Mapper should allow the users to have control over what relative directory a job's submit files are written to.

We plan to expose a pegasus profile named relative.submit.dir that will enable users to associate with a job
