PegasusLite does support symlinking in PegasusLite
However, in case of nonsharedfs with staging site as local and profile auxiliary.local set for the compute site, the stage-in transfers in pegasus lite for intermediate files (parent job created an output that the pegasus lite job requires) happen against the externally accessible URL server for local site. This should be optimized and a file source URL should be used instead.

Also similarly for stage-out in PegasuLite auxiliary.local should be considered, so that the dest url for the stageout is a file url instead of the externally accessible URL
